Surrender

Indecision clouds the mind
much as the veil of fog
that gently obscures the early morning moon.
Reminiscent of moments
in which resolve takes on an air of conviction,
yet uncertainty slowly drifts in.
It is said that nothing is permanent in life except change,
and I am witness to that
as I watch the dark sky surrender to the sun.
Although still masked in fog,
it carries forth the prospect of opportunity.

Ah, welcome to blogging, Dawn . . . This is an important piece, because it shows the weaknesses we must live through in our daily lives. The indecisions, the wondering if I am doing right, the feeling of being swallowed inside pessimism and failure . . . But . . . There is always that glimmer of something good which can come out of any situation . . .

Thank you Jerry for the welcome! And I agree with you about hope. It is so much an important part of our lives, often leading us forward.
